Easy and Simple Travel Plan for Jaipur




                 

            Jaipur is capital of Rajasthan. It's a visual treat for travelers who wants to explore traditional Rajasthan and City life of rajasthan. Its one of the city in Golden Triangle (Delhi- Agra- Jaipur). The richest royal family of Rajasthan lived here. It has very good connectivity to other part of state as well as other state of country.

How to Explore:

1) Transport

  • For Roaming, we can book cab or rent bike.Near railway station more bike rental service are there(Try Rental wheel bike rental services). Rent bike, it cost around 500 for scooty
  • There is sight seeing bus also available which they charge around 300 rupees per person. They show famous tourist places. You can book via your hotel or you can book near railway station. Double Decker bus also available

2) Itinerary

This is a two days plan. Dont forget to get composite ticket for two days

Day 1 : Places to visit(Start by 8 am or 9 am)

  1. Amber fort(Elephant ride, 550 per person)- start by 8 am or 9 am
  2. Panna Meena ka kund - reach by 11 am leave by 12 pm
  3. jaigarh fort( world biggest canon)- 12pm to 2pm
  4. Jal mahal - by 3 pm
  5. Nagaragh fort - by 4.30 pm leave here
  6. Albert Museum - Leave by 5.30 or 6
  7. Chowki dhani resort - reach here by 6.30 or 7. You can spend around 4 to 5 hours.

To visit all above places, Better you rent a bike or car or you can also take some toursit package with car. Public transport is limited. Specially , if u go to chowki dhani by public transport, plan for also return. As you dont get vehichle to return back to city around 11 pm.

Day 2:Places to visit(Start by 9am or 10 am)

  1. City palace
  2. Hawa mahal
  3. Janta mandir
  4. Isarlat Sargasooli
  5. bapu bazar
  6. Birla mandir


To visit above mentioned places, you can go by public transport or some share auto. You can also rent bike or car. Majority of those places are near to each other except Birla Mandir.

Stay

Near by Hawa mahal or sindhi gate are ideal places where you get good transportation

Food:

  1. Chowki Dhani - Dinner
  2. Santhosh Bhojanalaya
  3. Lakshmi Mishtan Bantar - lunch or dinner
  4. Rawat Mishthan Bantar- breakfast
  5. Bapu bazar Lassi wala
  6. Thali house ,Sindhi camp - Lunch, dinner

From above two, i have tried only bike rental. I didn't get chance to try double decker bus.

Personal tips:

  • Create a google sheet to track your budget and actual expenses . It can also be shared with all people with whom you are traveling.
  • Download entire jaipur offline map in Google maps
  • Create the travel checklist in google sheet just not to forget the things required
  • Plan to visit as early as possible to avoid crowds.
  • Check local holidays of Jaipur (Because you may not find much restaurant or travels opened for ex: Holi or Diwali)
  • Try to keep enough buffer between one travel to another travel just to avoiding missing bus,train or flight
  • Note down all emergency number in shared google sheet
  • Create whatsapp group and keep add all important docs, itinerary planning sheet, emergency contact
  • Bargain as much as you can, especially when you buy anything
  • Try to pay online entry to get your ticket, it will save time as well as you will get some discount
  • Buy composite ticket for entry. It saves so much money of entry ticket(only if u planned to visit more places)
